Egg and Mint Bread Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 slices - Bread
  • 2 Egg
  • Salt to the taste
  • Pepper to the taste
  • 1 cut into half - Cheese Slice
  • 2 teaspoons - Oil
  • For Serving - Tomato Ketchup

For the preparation of Chutney:


  • 1/2 cup Coriander Leaves
  • 1/2 cup Mint Leaves
  • 1 teaspoon or small piece peeled - Ginger
  • Salt to the taste
  • 1 teaspoon - Sugar
  • 2 - GreenChilli
  • 2 teaspoons - Lemon Juice
  • For grinding - Water

Directions


  • Take all the ingredients required for the chutney and make into a smooth puree.
  • Let’s make the bread omelet.
  • Take a bowl and crack 2 eggs, season it with salt and pepper.
  • Mix well to combine.
  • Heat oil in a frying pan. Pour half of the egg mix in and spread it out.
  • Now place 4 slices of bread over the egg.
  • Pour the remaining half of the egg mix over the bread and spread it well.
  • After the few minutes once the egg is cooked.
  • Flip over and cook on the other side too.
  • When the other side is cooking, Spread some chutney over the bread.
  • Place the cheese slices over the bread and fold them over.

Karnataka Special Neer Dosa


Learn how to prepare Neer Dosa by following easy preparation process. This batter is prepared with purely rice and coconut unlike other dosa batter. Try this recipe and have it for breakfast along with egg curry.


 

Ingredients 


  • 2 cups - Raw Rice
  • 1 cup - Grated coconut
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil to grease the pan

 

Directions


Step1 - Soak rice in water at least for 3 hours and drain the water.

Step2 - Grind the soaked rice along with grated coconut.

Step3 - Add salt to it and make a smooth batter by adding water at times.

Step4 - Transfer the batter in a bowl and add water if required. Make sure that the batter has a very thin coating at the back of the spoon and not a thick coating.

Step5 - Check for salt levels and add if required.

Step6 - The batter is now ready to prepare dosa.

Step7 - Place a pan on high flame and let it become hot.

Step8 - Reduce the flame to low and then pour the dosa batter on hot pan and let it spread itself creating holes.

Step9 - Before placing the dosa batter on the hot pan, make sure that the pan is greased with oil.

Step10 - The neer dosa cooks very quickly. When you find that the top of dosa is no longer raw, then the dosa is cooked.

Step11 - Slide a flat spatula from the sides of the pan fold the dosa into half.

Step12 - Place the dosa on a serving plate and continue to make another dosa in the same way.

Serve the Karnataka Neer Dosa along with manoli curry or even with Egg Curry. Make sure to place the dosa's away from each other so that they do not stick with one another. You can place on upon the other after they get cool.

Delicious Vegetable Fried Rice Recipe


Healthy Vegetable Fried Rice is something an easy recipe where you can prepare within no time. The advantage of preparing the recipe is that you can prepare by adding the required stuff in it. Have a look at the recipe and try it for your family members.

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Normal rice or basmati rice 
  • Oil For Cooking 
  • ¼ cupBeans chopped 
  • ¼ cup Carrot chopped 
  • 1 cup Cabbage 
  • 2 tbsp Spring onions 
  • ¼ cup Capsicum 
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil 
  • 2 tbsp Ginger garlic paste 
  • 1 tbsp Vinegar 
  • 2 tsp Soya Sauce Salt To Taste 
  • 1 PinchPepper

Directions


  • Soak rice in water for about 15 minutes
  • Cook the rice by adding 1 ½ cup of water and 1 tablespoon of oil
  • Once the rice is cooked, fluff with a fork and place it on a plate.
  • Take a pan and add oil to it
  • Heat the oil on a low flame and add ginger garlic paste
  • Saute it for few seconds and add chopped beans
  • Fry them for 1 minute and add chopped carrot pieces to it
  • Fry them for 1 more minute and add chopped cabbage, capsicum, spring onions to this
  • Fry the ingredients till they become tender and crunchy
  • Add salt to the vegetables and add rice to it
  • Stir them well
  • Add soya sauce, vinegar, pepper powder and mix them well
  • Add salt if required. Off the flame and close the lid for 5 minutes
Copping vegetables finely is very important as the tastes depends on the vegetables pieces you add. Add soya sauce based on your requirement. If you want the dish to be more delicious, add finely chopped mushrooms along with the other ingredients.

Delicious and Easy Poha Recipe


Try this Simple Poha Recipe and have the dish as breakfast along with your family members. It is easy to prepare but hearty breakfast and also called as brunch dish that is originated from North India. Have a look.

Ingredients

  • 2 cupsPoha
  •  1 Chili 
  • ½ cup Chopped carrot 
  • ½ cupPotato 
  • ¼ cup Green peas 
  • ½ cup Chopped onions 
  • 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds 
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric 
  • 1 Lime 
  • 2 tablespoons Oil 
  • ½ teaspoon Sugar saltto taste 
  • ¼ cup Coriander leaves

Directions



  • Wash poha with cold water and drain all the water
  • Set it aside
  • Place a pan and add oil to it
  • Add mustard seeds and saute them for few seconds
  • Add chopped potatoes and fry them for few minutes
  • Add carrots and peas. Fry them for 2 minutes
  • Add chopped onions and cook them well
  • When all the vegetables are cooked, add sugar, salt, chili and turmeric to it
  • Mix them well and finally add poha to it
  • Mix everything well and cook poha till it becomes little dry
  • If it is too try, just sprinkle little water on it and mix everything
  • Off the heat and garnish it with coriander leaves
  • Cover the pan with lid and then serve it after 5 minutes.


        Poha tates good with Andhra Gongura Chutney or even with Mango Flower Chutney.
